About Us

Welcome to Bend Elementary School – where all students receive a well-rounded education and learn 21st-Century skills to prepare them for a successful future!

Strong literacy and math skills are needed for success in college, career, and life. In addition, students must be afforded opportunities to engage in the sciences, technology, social sciences and visual and performing arts.

Research shows that students engage more deeply in learning when they are exposed to a variety of topics and can connect with learning in various ways that can extend beyond the classroom walls. We provide such well-rounded learning experiences for our students whereby they receive art, music, and physical education. Additionally, our 5th through 8th grade students participate in electives twice per week.

At Bend, we pride ourselves in knowing all of our students are developing their learner behaviors, preparing each and every one of them for successful high school years and beyond.

Our goal is to teach students to become adults that inform themselves, understand the issues of the day, and volunteer in their communities, prepare our nation to solve difficult, challenging issues and make it an equitable place to live for future generations.
